Cette jeune Américaine possède le talent de mixer dub, pop, rock et electro afin de créer un son unique et éclectique, sans jamais être incohérent. Loin des formatages raciaux trop souvent de règle outre-Atlantique, cette enfant de la bourgeoisie afro-américaine a consommé avec le même appétit musiques noires et blanches. Sensibilité plurielle, goût de la stylisation et don pour l'accroche, elle sait transfigurer les codes musicaux et transformer en or tout ce qu’elle chante.
